Where is SFU? Depending on the number of people signed up for each class, most classes will meet in the conference room across the hall from the nursery, unless a larger room is required.

Where do I sign up?  There are a variety of ways to enroll for a class:

V      Filling out a Blue Friendship in Worship card on Sunday

V      Filling out an SFU flyer located at the Welcome Center

V      Calling the church office: (260) 824-0460

How long are the classes?  Most classes will be completed in ONE session!  Some classes may carry over to a second or third Sunday.

How does it work?  S.F.U. is designed around our vision statement.  Classes will fall into one of four categories:  Evangelism, Prayer, Discipleship, and Practical Ministry.

A spreadsheet will keep track of which classes you have completed.  Anyone completing 3 graduated classes in all categories will earn an S.F.U. graduation certificate. CLT (Continuing Lay Training) is another discipleship tool available to us.  Whenever an SFU class also qualifies as a CLT class, you will earn credit for both. You can also earn SFU credit for completing an independent study CLT class.

Who is teaching the classes?  Pastor Rich Hadley will initially teach, but we are prospecting several other qualified teachers within the congregation who will share in this ministry.

What about kids?..childcare?  Pastor Tawnya is offering Discipleship Junction concurrently for kids Kindergarten through 5th grade.   Childcare for children younger than Kindergarten will be provided when we are notified at least a week ahead.
