All my life things were negative. It seemed like nothing ever went right, but then one day I prayed to God and asked him to work out the mess in my life, including giving me a Christian wife. It was after this prayer that I met Jenny, and we were later married. After this we began attending BFC. I really enjoyed Bluffton Nazarene Church, because the people welcomed me and came up and introduced themselves to me.
It was after one of Pastor Larry's sermons that I knew I needed to return to the Lord. One evening, after the church service, I went home and felt like I needed to talk with the pastor. I called the church and asked for Pastor Larry. It was during this phone call that I prayed and accepted Christ. My life now has made a 180 degree turn around.
This past year I have been sick, but God has been with me. I know now that he will never leave me. Since I know Christ as my Savior and Friend, I have had many open doors of opportunities to share Christ. At the present time, I am helping Pastor Tim with the Senior High Sunday School Class. I feel that Christians should not only serve in the church, but also have a ministry outside of church. I want others to know Christ like I do, and because of this, I am available to anybody who wants to talk about Jesus.
