I was born in September to Janelda & Richard Romine. My dad was finishing dental school & My mom was a nurse. We moved to Swayzee, Indiana and my brother Tyler was born. Mom took us to church and after my parents got divorced we moved with mom to Bluffton. We started going to the Nazarene Church here in Bluffton and much like the one in Swayzee, felt very much at home. My dad did not attend church at that time, so when I was at his house I missed my church family!
I was Saved at a Clyde Dupin Crusade that came to Bluffton. I went down to the front and accepted Jesus as my Savior. A few years later I felt God speaking to me at Senior High Camp and I gave it all to Him. Have I messed up? YES! Have I stumbled? YES! Have I made dumb mistakes? YES! But God is good ALL time and ALL the time God is good!
My biggest struggle was losing my mom. She was a wonderful friend, mother, and spiritual rock to me. I struggled (and still do) with this. However, as much as I know I miss her, I know I will see her again! I know that just like Jesus, she is with me! And because of Jesus making the ultimate sacrifice we will all be together someday!
The Bluffton Nazarene church is a "home" to me! I love being a part of it and seeing my family there! I currently am the Women's Ministry Director, and am the part-time custodian. I also have the wonderful opportunity of being employed at a Women's Residental Facility in Bluffton. These women come from all over the U.S. and have more baggage and problems than I could've imagined. But they come in hopes of being changed and made new. God can do it. It is a wonderful Christian Facility and God has already and continues to do great things there!
I love the Lord and I believe prayer and forgiveness are powerful and real.
